(1) Magnetic Pump

Shaft Sealing Device(축봉장치)가 필요 없는 Non-seal Type으로 Process Liquid가 외부로 유출될 염려가 없음

Canned Motor Pump와 마찬가지로 인화성이 높은 유체나 유독성 유체, 그리고 고온의 유체 이송에 적합함

Pump Shaft에 영구자석인 Inner Magnet와 Coupling Shaft에 Outer Magnet가 부착되어 있음

Motor가 회전하면 자력에 의하여 Pump Impeller가 회전하는 원리를 이용하여 Pumping을 함

(2) Magnetic Pump 내의 Process Liquid

토출 방향으로 대부분 이송되지만, 일부 Process Liquid는 Impeller Back Vane을 통하여 Pump Shaft Bearing을 윤활한 후, 다시 Pump Casing 내로 순환함

Magnetic drive pumps utilize standard horizontal electric motors which are coupled to the pump bearing housing on which rotating magnet is supported.
The rotating magnet rotates or pulls the impeller rotor supported by product-lubricated carbon bushings inside a sealed case. Like canned motor pumps, these pumps are available in sizes up to 150 kW, 450 m3/h, and 185 m of head and cost is considerably more than conventional centrifugal pumps.

Process Liquid	토출방향으로 대부분 이송됨
일부 Process Liquid	Impeller Back Vane을 통하여 Pump Bearing을 윤활한 후, Stationary Can과 Rotating Can 사이의 틈새로 이송되어 Motor Bearing을 윤활하며, 이후에는 Shaft의 Hole을 통하여 Pump Casing으로 다시 유입됨

Canned motor pumps have a special electric motor operating under pressure in a liquid filled chamber, which is called as ‘can’, adjacent to the pump casing.
The motor chamber is filled with the liquid pumped. The bearings are usually made of carbon and lubricated by liquid pumped. These pumps are available in sizes up to 110 kW,
340 m3/h and 180 m of head. However, the cost is considerably more than conventional pumps.
