▣ Emergency Actions in Case of Tunnel Fire

• Drivers must evacuate quickly with their vehicle outside the tunnel.

• If it is impossible to move outside, stop at the shoulder or in an emergency parking space.

• Turn off the engine, leave the key in the ignition, and evacuate quickly.

• Press the emergency alarm to notify of the fire.

• Use the emergency telephone to request rescue (or dial 119 on a mobile phone).

• Attempt early extinguishing with a fire extinguisher or indoor fire hydrant.

• If early extinguishing is impossible, avoid smoke and evacuate quickly outside the tunnel by following the evacuation lights.
