16. HDPE Installation
High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is an extremely versatile material that is utilized for a number of engineering works.
As one of the most versatile plastic materials around, HDPE plastic is used in a wide variety of applications, including plastic bottles, milk jugs, shampoo bottles, bleach bottles, cutting boards, and piping. Known for its outstanding tensile strength and large strength-to-ensity ratio, HDPE plastic has a high-impact resistance and melting point.

2. Ensure that the grounding cable are installed and perperly grounded 3. Only certified welder having certification for specific job shall be allowed to perform welding job 4. Work personnel shall wear PPE such as gloves and goggles 5. Work personnel do not away from welding equipment prior to completed work 6. All electric welding equipment will be kept in good repair and used only for the intended purpose 7. Tools must be properly stored when not in use 8. All electrical operated tools shall be double insulated grounded and shall be rated at 220 volts and portable power tools must be equipped with proper function “Dead man switch” |

저의 경우, 주로 물배관으로 사용되는 배관라인과 Tank 주변 Dike 내부 바닥에 지반침투방지용으로 접했습니다.
대부분 열을 가해서 접합해야 하며 다루기가 용이하죠!! 전원선 상태 확인 및 다림질과 같은 작업방법의 경우는 화상 상해에 주의해서 작업해야 할 것 입니다.
HDPE도 지중매설된 것들이 많습니다. 터파기할 때 조심하셔야 합니다.
제가 근무한 현장은 물배관을 너무 많이 터트려서 물바다 많이 되었습니다 ^^;;;;
